Behind the Blog

Read our bios?

Joanna

I actually had a perfectly structured and well written bio which I just so happened to delete (with utmost intelligence of course) and not keep an extra copy of, therefore I shall start again...

My favorite roses are sunflowers, favorite colors are spaceships and satellites, and favorite pancakes are granola bars.

I like to read. I like to write. I made a blog.

That's literally all I have to say...

Peace out y'all

P.S. I've always wanted to say P.S. :))

Maryam

Habibis,

I am too lazy to write but never too lazy to read. If you get inside my head, I promise you, you’re in for a ride. I am at times an astronaut, sometimes a stunt double but usually a secret agent protecting an item of value (I’m afraid I can’t disclose the matter). An avid bathroom/ classroom singer, my vocals have improved lately (even though my friends beg to differ).

On a more serious note, I’ve recently developed an interest in ethnicity and culture. And I’ve already brainstormed some crazy ideas. And that is what you’ll be hearing from me. And definitely a few fictional pieces too! I can’t wait to spill everything onto paper.

Next time you catch me talking to myself, I hope you have a better understanding of the chaotic life I lead inside my head. And oh, keep your head in the clouds too! The view only gets better.

Until next time,

Maryam

Now I guess it's my turn. I'm not really one for reading like the other two, not at all. That is fiction books I mean. But I love to learn new things and I'm always open for a good old political conversation. That's what you'll read from me in this blog - my long list of never ending opinions regarding the world and how its run. Yes, I'm one of those people. The annoying ones that just can't accept things for the way they are. I also love small classroom debates and discussions and getting an insight into what other people think about certain topics.

I love finding more about new languages and exploring various cultures. I find beauty in the art of difference and love to expand my knowledge. But unlike my fellow team mates I ain't a wild child that takes daredevil risks lol. And yous might hate me for this, but I'm flippin terrified of cats and dogs and animals in general. This one time, in my old high school, there was a blind girl who had a guide dog to take her around. I opened a door to go into the corridor with my friends, and the DOG WAS THERE. I flipping screamed at it and got done so bad. I became known as 'the girl who screamed at the dog,' and I had to write a letter of apology. Smhhh. Oh well...

So there we go, all about moi. Stay tuned for more unfortunate incidents and passionate political posts.

xx
